First, you make the crust.
1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons of melted light margarine
Mix these together and press them to the bottom of a greased nine inch baking pan. Now set the pan aside.
Second, you make the filling.
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
3, 8 ounces packages of soft, light cream cheese
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
3/4 cup of egg substitute
Mix the sugar, cream cheese and flour together until the mixture becomes fluffy in texture. Slowly add the egg substitute and mix well. Once the batter is well mixed pour it into the pan on top of the pie crust.
Bake the cheesecake in the oven for about an hour at 350 degrees. Once the cheesecake is finished refrigerate it over night.
This recipe will serve up to 16 people.
This diabetic desert is delicious and easy to make. I assure you that once your family and friends, whether they are diabetic or not, taste this taste cheesecake that they will never want to eat store bought deserts ever again.
